Description
of the digital art technique used to create this image:

The fractal image “Big Fish” was created with KPT5 FraxPlorer. I generated various fractals with geometric patterns on several transparent layers and combined and reworked them with changing merge modes (layertechnique) in Adobe Photoshop to get the finely tuned colour scheme, the painterly quality and the three-dimensional deepness.

Series: Fractals as Art on
the Subject Spirals by Karin Kuhlmann.

This very graphically conceived fractal design was created with KPT FraxPlorer on several transparent layers and artistically edited and designed with Adobe Photoshop to achieve the 3-dimensional deepness and the finely graded color scheme. Fractal Design “Big Fish” belongs to a series of “Fractals as Art” on the topic spirals I’m working on since 2000.

Fine Art Prints: The high quality of my fractals allow large fine art prints up to 60 inch. Each print is individually printed from the original digital file and can be shipped worldwide.
