Digital Art, Mathematical: Abstract modern fractals after Mandelbrot and Julia.

 

Like music, fractals are very abstract and a wonderful medium to play with. Dipping into the fractal space means to enter absolutely new and unknown territories...and I am the conqueror! Although its creation is bounded to strict mathematical rules the resulting fractals are always very inspiring and they are - because I am the one who chooses the forms, the details and the colours of each fractal - also an expression of myself.
The classical fractal images after Mandelbrot and Julia of this gallery are mainly done in the layer technique with Ultra Fractal or KPT-FraxPlorer. Layertechnique means I usually create several different fractals on transparent layers and combine them together in Photoshop with changing colouring and merge modes to get this
3-dimensional deepness. The high res-files of my fractals allow large fine art prints up to 60 inch x 45 inch.
